Minecraft by default has some butt-ugly program icons in Windows. They don’t use the capability of having 256×256 sized icons, so the stock one is incredibly lo-rez and looks pretty awful. Well after playing around with some other icons I made (not released yet), I though about what a Metro-styled Minecraft icon would looks like. So I came up with the pickaxe silhouetted in white on a grass-green background. I think it turned out pretty nice.
